Today in class we focused on some more IC3. This time involved for the whole day we worked on Microsoft Access. We were given some tasks to do that I was able to complete fairly well. But once when we got into our main assignment for the day it was hard figuring out on what I had to do. For the most part I was able to get most of the stuff completed. I was confused in buts and pieces of what we had to do for the forms part of the database.
We had a few questions to answer about spreadsheets and databases so here is what I got:
Spreadsheets:
Excel is an electronic spreadsheet program that can be used for storing, organizing and manipulating data
Databases:
A database is a tool for collecting and organizing information.
Databases can store information about people, products, orders, or
anything else. Many databases start as a list in a word-processing
program or spreadsheet.
2 Ways On How To Retrieve The Data:
You can use the finder tool to be able to type in a word from the data so then you will be able to find it. You can go to external data tab and go to saved imports and see if your data may be in there.
Thanks for taking the time to read this,
Sincerely,
