 Today we continued our IC3 studies with learning about Networks. We did notes on different versions of networks. Such as local networks, ethernet, network protocols and network technology. We also did notes on cables and we did little tasks on dealing with cables.

I found this very useful to learn about since I do sometimes have network issues at my house so I need to reset some settings so this may help me next time something occurs. We also had an assignment that we had to find out what our NIC was and how fast it was and this is what I came up with:



 My NIC is RTL8168
Speed: The Realtek RTL8168 Gigabit Ethernet controller combines a triple-speed IEEE 802.3 compliant Media Access Controller (MAC) with a triple-speed Ethernet
